Yes, the little banks are "proposed" to return when the big banks renovations are completed (in up to 4 years).

I also don't think this could possibly be to scale because according to the diagram, you have to gap over the exchange alley gap to hit the zigfield ledge or black hubba unless you got quick feet.
According to my magic 8 ball, the exchange place gap is really a 6" drop that abuts a band of dark gray concrete, with the drop being on the far side of the band from the hubba, etc.

an optical illusion, ok that might work but then it's not really the exchange alley gap other than in the size of the faux-street part.

While the event is free, there is probably limited seating/space so they need tickets to help crowd control. I don't care either way as long as I get box seats.

this is what they told me about the seating:
The event is a free event, and open to the public. There will be grandstands, and you will need a ticket to sit in the grandstands, but those will be free and available through our partners. All standing room and village are free, no ticket needed.

I just got back form flushing meadow park where I met with the maloof people and everyone else. I'll post the entire interview tonight, but here's a few answers to some of the questions.
The event is free, tickets are only for seating in the grandstands, you can watch from other parts of the park.
Locals cannot skate during the event, there is a pro and am contest, by invite only. There are wildcard slots, but you pretty much have to be a top am or pro that was not selected via the committee.
The park will be open to the public possibly the week after the event, depending on when the park is cleaned up and approval is passed by the parks department.
I'm talking with Steve@5boro about hosting at least part of Go Skateboarding Day there this year.

Id like to see what kind of stuff is gonna go down over the union rail, knowing all the tricks that have happened over the years at the real spot.

i seen that, 3 more possible reconstructions, and redesigns, it sounds extremely good.
not to sound ungrateful and not to ruin plans, but they should look into putting the other nyc maloofs in other boros, like brooklyn, manhattan, the bronx or staten island******* lmao
